Activate the feature by following these steps:

  1. Open Isolta and go to Settings.

  2. From there, the first section that opens will be My business.

  3. Scroll down the page to Bank account on invoice and click on the bank account you want to authorize.

    • You can only authorize one bank account.

    • If you have not yet added a bank account, add it first and then authorize it.

4. Click on Authorize.

5. Select the type of account you are authorizing.

5. Finally, click Start Authorization

6. Click Continue authentication.

You will now be redirected to your bank's website to confirm your authorization. Once the bank connection has been established, the information will be automatically retrieved to Isolta once a day. Transaction requests can only be collected once a day from all banks.

After activation, the bank connection will retrieve transactions retrospectively for a period of 45 days. Payments received before that time must be manually entered.

The authorization must always be renewed every 180 days (for Holvi every 90 days). The validity period is based on the limits set by the PSD2 Directive.

What is it about?

With the EU Parliament's PSD2 Directive, it is now possible to retrieve account details of incoming payments to Isolta free of charge. The Directive states that, with the customer's approval, banks must provide third-party service providers with access to the customer's account details and payment data via open interfaces.

The Directive covers both business and personal customer accounts. This means that the feature is also available to business-to-consumer companies. Banks will not be able to charge customers for using PSD2 interfaces.

The use is secure. Service providers using the interfaces must be registered or licensed by the Financial Supervisory Authority. It is also always up to the customer to decide to whom they give access to their own bank details.
