What is Finago Payroll service and how can I use it?
Paying salaries is really complicated. You have to know how to pay the right amount at the right time, e.g. (ennakonpidätyksiä, työeläkävakuutuksia -ja muita vakuutuksia) withholding tax, occupational pension insurance and other insurances. This one payment already includes all side costs. The service provides guidance in all stages of payroll calculation, e.g. vacation calculation. You don't need to have any previous payroll experience.
Familiar people from Isolta's customer service will help you if you have questions about payroll, or if an error has occurred in payroll. In addition, the Palkkaus.fi service contains a comprehensive information bank, Palkkaus ABC, e.g. in relation to employment contracts and collective agreements.
I was thinking of letting my accounting firm handle the payroll. Why should I use Isolta's Payroll service instead?
Isolta's Payroll service includes an accounting service - you don't have to understand all the ins and outs of paying salaries. The difference to a traditional accounting office is that the service works digitally: you enter the same information into the service as you would to a traditional accounting office, such as gross salary, fringe benefits and travel allowances.
The difference to a traditional accounting office service comes in the price and flexibility. In Isolta, paying one salary transaction costs €10 (+VAT), while it can cost many times that in traditional accounting offices. Isolta's Payroll service is also always available.
How can I start using Isolta Payroll service?
You can start using Isolta Payroll service by going to your Isolta account and clicking "Payroll" from the left-hand side menu and following the instructions there.
During the implementation phase, a separate digital agreement is made with your company and Suomen Palkanlaskenta Oy, which is responsible for the production of the service.
After signing the contract, you can start using the service and pay the first salaries. You can pay the first salaries on the same day.
Isolta's Payroll services are based on the palkkaus.fi service, which is Finland's leading digital payroll service.
What is the difference if I use the service through Isolta or directly through the Palkkaus.fi service?
The service and price are the same (or at least very close), whether you activate the service through Isolta or directly through Palkkaus.fi.
When you enable the service through Isolta, you can access the Payroll service with a single login. Isolta's payroll includes the same features as Palkkaus.fi, but the user interface has been adjusted to look like Isolta, so it is easy to use if you have used Isolta before.
In addition, you have the same, familiar Isolta customer service at your disposal, which means you can at the same time ask about things related to invoicing and payroll.
If I stop using Isolta or switch to Procountor Solo / Accountor Go, can I still use Isolta's Payroll service?
If you stop using Isolta, you can still use the same service by using Palkkaus.fi directly. Isolta usernames will then be replaced by Palkkaus.fi usernames.
If you switch from Isolta to Procountor Solo or Accountor Go services (which are all based on the same software code), you can continue to use the same payroll service within the services.
